| The Business Value Group is an association of business valuation professionals who often work jointly on projects
where a team approach offers an advantage.
For example, a BVG associate may have specialized skills and experience in an industry, or in some specialty such
as option valuation. Or, an appraiser in one region may need to have a site visit done at another region, and the
availabilityof a qualified professional in that area saves time and travel expense. Sometimes it just helps to get
another perspective on a situation.
BVG valuations are usually done in association with Business Equity Appraisal Reports, Inc. (BEAR). BEAR has
provided industry and market analyses and specialized computational support for CPAs, business brokers, and
valuation professionals since 1986 and has participated in thousands of valuations for many different purposes.
BEAR has developed a large library of proprietary software that is unique in the valuation profession, and which
incorporates knowledge and experience built up over decades.
