| Our consumer electronics valuation specialist, Clay Reid has wide ranging and extensive experience in the consumer electronics industry. Initially he acted as an operations manager for a large retail chain, then as CEO of his own diverse electronics specialty stores spanning nearly 3 decades.
He has expert insight into the world of traditional technologies, digital and wireless products as well as the ways and means of distribution in this broad industry.
As an entrepreneurial product innovator, he draws from nearly 10 years of experience in new product development and introduction, offshore manufacturing and international distribution and delivery.
Later, upon the sale of one of his retail chains, Mr. Reid worked as an independent business broker consultant, then as a Director of Sales for one of the nation’s largest merger and acquisition business brokerages. Over the years, he has coordinated valuations and the sale/acquisition of numerous consumer electronics companies. He has facilitated the acquisition of firms ranging from large television production studios to electronics manufacturing operations as well as retail electronics and entertainment store chains.
He intimately understands the factors that drive value in the C.E. world. He is adept in preparing business value appraisals and providing broad support for his clients through the successful completion of these deals.

He started an international network of distribution with hundreds of direct sales outlets including The Sharper Image, Pep Boys and American Express.
